Then and Now Part 1

The end of August 1987 MaryAnn and I met. . . and we are still friends 21 years later!

I know that we had more fun at college than we studied. And this was the big hair days, can you tell.

If it is possible, she was/is more goofy than I was/am. I think that is why we get a long so well, we are both a little quirky.

Here we are at her wedding, she was in mine too, I just didn't scan that picture in.

This is when I visited her in Hawaii in 1990. She was just barely pregnant and not feeling well, but did a great job showing me around and having fun. What a friend.

Then there is Teresa. I didn't live with Teresa, but we had a lot of the same classes so we spent a lot of time together during the day. She always did a great job keeping me motivated to get things done. Always cheerful. We had a lot of fun too, especially when we went dancing. I had a great time in Arizona with her and MaryAnn. They live right by each other, in fact, they can see each other from their back yards!

A triple date that MaryAnn, Teresa and I went on the fall of 1988. It was a girls choice dance. Dang, I should have scanned in that dance picture, talk about big hair! Teresa took Steve, they eventually got married.

Ann, wow, I'm impressed with the height your bangs reached! What a great post!

I do believe those bangs were your trademark, Ann. Ahhhhh good times!

Yes, the hair is HUGE. I have a lot of hair, plus a perm, plus teasing it, that all equals HUGE hair. I actually had a lady get mad at me at a concert because she couldn't see around my hair.

Oh yes, Ann's bangs were her trademark. I tried, but could never quite reach the height she got. And I witnessed the mad lady that couldn't see around your hair - "do you have a ribbon??" hehehe You also forgot one important tool for big bangs - hairspray!

Okay - question. Do you even remember what we were dressed as for Halloween in that one photo? Did we really go out looking like that??!?

What a legacy to have "trademark bangs" I had forgotten the lady asking if I had a ribbon to tie it back with, like that would have helped.
MaryAnn, I don't know what we were dressed up as. I think it was a last minute thing and we just grabbed whatever.
