Kaden racing against his good friend Josh. Josh beat him again, but there are a few meets left this year. . . so who knows. Kaden would love to beat him at least once. I love this picture.

Kaden finishing the race. It was suppose to be a 5k but they had to change the route a bit so it was longer, he was dying! But he still did great. I'm so proud of how well he has done with Cross Country. He has really enjoyed it (he must not have many of my genes), and wants to do it again next year.

After the high school teams ran, they had a 1 mile kids run and the rest of the kids wanted to do it. I think they are crazy, but I don't say that. I have always hated running, but if they want to do it, more power to them. I will support their craziness.
All of the kids lined up and ready to run. Kyson really didn't know what was in store for him. Poor kid. The girls actually know the other two. One is in their class at school and the other is on their soccer team. Which after running a mile, they went strait to soccer practice. They were very tired that night.

Midway through the race.

Kambrie still going strong.

Kyson was embarrassed because someone he totally loves (besides me) was cheering for him, this is his embarrassed look while running.

Becca finished in a little over 9 min.

Kyson came in a few minutes after her.

Kambrie slowed down and ran with her friend. They were cute coming in holding hands. Kambrie can be such a nice girl.

They all had a great time and are wondering if there are going to be more kids races at the next few meets. Again I don't think they have many of my genes in this area. I hate running!

I'm glad the race went well. It sounds like he's enjoying cross country? You may have a whole family of runners someday it looks like (less yourself ;) ).
Great Ann! Kaden has such a cross country runners body! I'm glad he is enjoying it and that you are there to cheer him on. YOu have great kids Ann!
