The girls had a chance to try about a bunch of different instruments today. This helps them to decide what or if they want to play something before they reach middle school. Kauri has always said that she would love to play the flute, but after today she really wants to play the violin/viola. Kambrie wanted to play the violin, but now the trombone is her instrument! They had a great time and we plan on going again next year to see if their taste remains the same.

What a great idea! Connor also plays the trombone and loves it. Alexandra chose the saxophone at first, and after a half a year just didn't like it and is now first chair with flute. They definitely need to click with the instrument. I wish I had a violin player though! Sounds like your house will be full of music before long (well, in addition to Kaden's guitar)!
