Cross Country
Earlier this summer Kaden decided that he would like to join the high school cross country team. He has been running for two weeks now and had his first time trial today. He ran 2 miles in 15.2. For being 13 and his first timed trial, I thought that was great. He thought he would be "dead last", but he wasn't (whew). We had a PAC meeting today and got to meet his coach and the other runners. It seems like a great program and I've heard nothing but positive things about it. It will be nice for him to find a sport that he likes and is good at. He has the build of a runner, so we are hoping that he has found his niche.
